We are sad to stop this mission, but with Belarus's break with the United States, their increasing relationship with Russia and their work to close orphanages, we no longer can provide support.
The orphanage had 150 orphans under the age of 4. The Isle of Hope camp provided a wonderful summer camp for the children bringing outdoor activities and an opportunity to learn the Gospel. A child could have been sent to the 10 day camp for as little as $80. These children were in much need having been affected by the long-term aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986.
